Accident Insurance

Accident insurance plans help you prepare for the unexpected and provide an affordable way for individuals and families to be protected from the extra expenses that can come due to an accident. Having access to benefits and resources to assist with unforeseen expenses can help ease the burden; and this is where an Accident insurance plan can help.  Key benefits include:

Fixed Indemnity Insurance

Stand-alone accident plans are available which include Fixed Indemnity Benefits, Accident Medical Expense Benefits (AME), Accidental Death & Dismemberment Benefits (AD&D) and Critical Illness Lump Sum Benefits.  Benefits include hospital confinement, emergency room, outpatient surgery and more. (Benefits vary by membership).

Dental Insurance

Fully insured dental plans include coverage for dental exams, cleanings, treatment and services, including endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, crowns, bridges, dentures, as well as orthodontics for dependent children. Dental indemnity plans are also available, which include coverage for preventive dental care, cleanings, x-rays and procedures, such as fillings and extractions.

Prescription Insurance

AWA offers insured prescription benefits for most of the commonly prescribed generic drugs and preferred name drugs at low member co-pays.  In addition, this membership allows purchase of non-preferred brand name drugs and non co-pay generics at a discounted rate, saving anywhere from 10-70% off of the pharmacy's retail charge.

Vision Insurance

Fully insured vision plans are available that include eye exams and coverage for eyeglasses, contact lenses and more.
